{"id":243,"count":48,"description":"Alexis L\u00f3pez, better known as Otto Schade, or simply OSCH, is a Chilean-German architect and artist. He is known for his paintings that perfectly blend abstract and surreal art. \r\nFor years he has worked as a street artist, photographer, and sculptor, working on collages as well as prints, drawings and installations.\r\n\r\nOtto Schade was born in Chile in 1971. His talent was evident at an early age: he began to draw. Later he studied architecture and although Otto has already received numerous awards for his achievements in this field. His greatest passion however, as before, remained painting. Through his artworks Schade tries, as he says himself, \"[...] to break the flatness of a canvas\". In his abstract paintings Schade experiments with layers and thus builds a depth of spatial representation.\r\n \r\nSometimes his art is inspired by political themes. Growing up during Pinochet's dictatorship, Schade learned to think as a rebel and responded to the system through his work. His works are in many public and private collections - famous collectors include Queen's Brian May, Jamie Oliver, Naomi Campbell and former British Prime Minister David Cameron.\r\n\r\nHe is represented by the Ministry of Walls Gallery.\r\nOtto Schade lives and works in London, UK since
