Next week we go to Banksy´s Dismaland and get in touch with more artist´s – Great week for Ministry of Walls.
Dismaland is a temporary art project organised by street artist Banksy, constructed in the seaside resort town of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, England.
Prepared in secret, the pop-up exhibition at the Tropicana, a disused lido, is “a sinister twist on Disneyland” that opened during the weekend of 21 August 2015.Banksy has described it as a “family theme park unsuitable for children.”
Banksy created ten new works and funded the construction of the exhibition himself. The show Dismaland features 58 artists of the 60 Banksy originally invited to participate, and is scheduled to run until 27 September 2015, for 36 days, with 4,000 tickets available at Dismaland for purchase per day.
Among the structures photographed prior to the opening were a large pinwheel by Banksy.

Works by 58 artists, including Jenny Holzer, Damien Hirst and Jimmy Cauty are featured in the park. Banksy said he contacted the “best artists I could imagine,” to exhibit, with two artists turning down.
We at Ministry of Walls Street Art Gallery are hoping for some fantastic hours in Banksy´s Themapark Dismaland. We will have three cameras on hand to make sure that the photos we take come out perfectly.
Lets see if Dismaland will make our Day 🙂
