The English artist Ben Eine was born in London in 1970. He became known through his calligraphic art and is now one of the most influential artists in the global street art scene. Accordingly, he has a close friendship with Banksy. His letters adorn the shutters of any city, including London, Paris and Stockholm.
In 2010, he painted on the Middlesex Street in London, which was subsequently renamed “Alphabet Street”. In the same year, James Cameron gave one of the works to the then-US President Barack Obama during a visit. It even used to hang in the White House temporarily.
