Ministry of Walls Logo

Graffiti artist Copyright hails from the United Kingdom, and is known for his distinctive urban stencil style that combines traditional motifs with contemporary art techniques to blend the old and the new. After creating his basic motif with stencils, Copyright adds more depth and texture with acrylic spray and a brush.

His striking works frequently focus on strong women surrounded by iconic symbolism, but his bold graffiti style also adds a touch of brutality to his works. Copyright’s striking depictions of female subjects challenge the unattainable beauty standards of the media and popular culture.

While pursuing a degree in photography and video production at a local college, Copyright was inspired by the countless possibilities for creating his own art. Soon he was creating paintings by making stencils from his own photographs. Later, he took to the streets, using the walls and murals of the city as his canvas. It wasn’t long before art collectors and gallery owners discovered his work, which has since been exhibited all over the world, including in metropoles such as London and Tokyo.

His work has been featured in publications such as Harper’s Bazaar and he also designed a custom cover for Reload Magazine. Copyright’s unique style has earned him a celebrity following and a number of Premier League footballers have become collectors of his work.
